Maternity

Capturing the magic of motherhood begins with maternity photography. Here at Peter Thomas Photography, we believe this is a time to celebrate the incredible transformation your body is undergoing. Our Belfast studio offers a warm and inviting space for maternity portraits. Whether you prefer a classic and elegant look or a more whimsical and playful vibe, we'll collaborate with you to create a session that reflects your unique style and this special chapter in your life.

Maternity shoots are usually photographed at week 32-36. The focus will be on you and your bump, but feel free to bring a partner along for some couple photographs.

The photoshoot will last 1hr and is captured by our photographer Danielle.

We will put you at ease right from the outset and just love meeting all the expectant mums.

The Experience

I want you to really enjoy your photography experience with us. Your shoot will be relaxed and fun.

After the photoshoot, we’ll nicely retouch your photographs to make sure you look your absolute best! We’ve also got a really stunning range of products. Albums are particularly popular for Maternity shoots.

1. Give the studio a call, email or book online. Cost is £75 which includes a 1hr photoshoot and a 8x6in desk frame.

2. Enjoy your creative, fun photo session

3. About a week after the shoot, we’ll invite you into the studio to view the photographs and purchase whatever products you want.

Suggested Styling

We typically photograph four styles during your Maternity shoot. If there is a style you don't feel comfortable with or something else you want, we'll be happy to accomodate!



Whitesheet.

Using the whitesheet to cover the bits you don't want photographed, this is a simple, elegant and flattering style to really show off you and your bump.


Jeans.

Jeans with a bra or crop-top can be a casual and fun way to capture this time.


All Dressed up.

Bring your favourite dress for a more formal look. We usually try to avoid black as it covers the bump.



Couple or Family.

Feel free to bring a partner along for some couple photographs. If you have other kids you are welcome to bring them too for a family with bump photograph.
